The Museum offers free cloakroom and wardrobe services. For security reasons, it is mandatory to deposit handbags, backpacks, umbrellas, or packages exceeding the following dimensions: 40 x 40 cm, in the cloakroom. The Museum is not responsible for any items deposited in the cloakroom.

Recommendations

Keep your admission ticket throughout the visit.
Avoid using your mobile phone inside the Museum, and use a low voice volume to better enjoy the collection and respect other visitors.

Rules

To ensure the preservation of the artworks and the safety of visitors, the following are not allowed:
– Taking photographs or video recordings with flash.
– Smoking, eating, or drinking inside the Museum premises.
– Bringing pets, except assistance dogs.
– Bringing bags, backpacks, or packages larger than 40 x 40 cm, as well as umbrellas or sharp and cutting objects.
– Using folding chairs or cane seats inside the galleries without authorization.
– Touching the artworks, their supports, display cases, or informational signage.

Accessibility

Access to the exhibition halls, services and activities on offer at the Episcopal Museum of Vic is open to everyone. All access points are free from architectural barriers and visitors may pass unhindered through the halls. We provide ramps, services adapted for use by the disabled, and have a reception desk suitable for wheelchair users, a wheelchair for use by visitors and lifts.

 

Activities adapted for the visually impaired

We offer descriptive visits for people with visual disabilities.
The museum visit involves handling objects and narration.
We facilitate the transcription of this programme in Braille and in texts with large-size print in Catalan, Spanish, French and English.
We have information about a Romanesque relief and a Gothic sculpture available in Braille. These items have been selected as they can be appreciated in a tactile manner. The information is available in Catalan, Spanish, French and English.
Seeing-eye dogs allowed.
