About the Museum

I’m the MEV and I’m a bridge that connects the mediaeval past to today’s world. The extraordinary works I contain —paintings, sculptures and other objects of art— explain what art and life were like in Catalonia in the Middle Ages. They help us to understand our identity and much of the culture that surrounds us.
