16th century
Casket formed by parallelepiped-shaped box with base slightly sloping and moulded and closed by a flat lid with the edge ending in the shape of an inverse talon. The outside of the box is decorated, on each of its sides, with borders at the edges with floral motifs that frame a composition where cherubs appear among curtains and flower vases. The decoration is done in grisaille (combinations based on different shades of grey) that stands out against the gilt background, slightly dotted in certain parts. On the inside of the lid, also decorated with a border round the edge, there is the depiction of Saint Veronica with the Holy Face, on a gilt background.
